    Shotgun suggestions

Im looking into purchasing a shotgun for clay shooting. Anyone have a suggestion for a good over under for around $800?

CZ Redhead Deluxe. I just picked on up in July and I can't not tell you how nice it is to shoot.

I did a bunch of research and I know there are some guys on here who hate on Turkish guns but do a quick google search and all you will find is good news on this gun. There is even a guy over at shotgun world who has logged every shot he has taken with his CZ for the last three years, over 15,000 and he has not had one problem.

Saw a used Browning O/U at Turner's San Marcos that I thought was in that range. Go used and you can probably get a $1200 gun for your price.

Mom & Pop guns stores. Where are you located for starters? Google "gun store near 92xxx" or where ever you are and start calling around.

I'd start checking out a used Citori or Beretta o/u...Typically one can get you started and you can sell if for about what you paid when you're ready for another gun.

I just bought one as well... Its in jail at the moment but the reason I bought it was because some guy let me shoot a round of trap with it and I fell In love it super smooth and not to heavy! I love that thing!!

Brownings are nice... But pricey, they hold up value pretty well but your still looking at over a 1000 used.

Isn't CZ Czech? I thought it was the "Escort MP2 or MPA" that was turkish?

Also, don't forget to call your shotgun a "shotty" if you want some response! (j/k guys, relax!)

Hard to go wrong with an 1100 and there are more than a few out there.

I've been seeing more CZs turning up at my club and haven't seen a wrong one yet.
