    Need a barrel stretcher :)

I have a remington 1100 that was given to me by my mother many years ago. It had a 30 in ribbed barrel, but I wanted something shorter for a home defense gun. So I bought a 30in non ribbed barrel at a gun show and cut down the barrel to 18.5 inches. After I did this, I kinda regretted cutting it so short but I didn't do anything about it. Since then I have found a magazine tube extension for it that my mother also owned. Its a +3 extension and with it on, the magazine tube now sticks past the barrel by about 1.5 inches or so. This looks kind of stupid, so want to know if there is a way to put a muzzle device or something on the end of the barrel to make it flush with the magazine tube. I don't have any threading so no screw in devices can be used(unless I take it to a gunsmith?) If its more than $100 I can probably just get a new (used) barrel and cut it down to the right length.
Does anyone know of any ideas how to attach a muzzle device to the end of my cut-down barrel, and what options their are?
    Thanks

Get a two shot extension and it will end flush. First make sure the barrel works. You can't just cut down barrels on gas operated weapons unless you are sure the gas orifice sizes will still allow enough pressure to cycle the weapon with the shorter barrel.

If you're going to a gun fight, take a shotgun. If you can't take a shotgun, don't go.

It works, but only with slugs and other high powered rounds. Bird shot doesn't cut it.

where do I find weld on flash hiders?

BTW I'm ok with a 2 shot extension tube, but the one I have is nice and works with the ratchet system. I don't want a tube that requires me to modify my gun.

probably would have to get one for a saiga and weld it on with a little work.
