Mossberg 500A fore-end upgrade?

Has anyone upgraded their 500A's fore-end? I got a new forend with my Blackhawk stock, but I cannot get the fore-end apart to install it. Apparently they changed the design after 2008 or so and they cannot be easily changed out.

Has anyone successfully changed it out and what parts did you need?

First off you can't use that black hawk forend without some custom work. Second Mossberg 500a no longer come with a replacable forend, for you to get a different forend on there you have to order a charging tube.
