    Franchi SPAS12

Is there any loophole for this shotgun to be had in Ca? I know it's on the list. Also, it would be shipped from out of state. I'm guessing no. However, I read this in a related post,

-----Additional $25 fee if your FFL requires transfer FROM an FFL
If you are in California I can NOT send using my FFL, only private party to your FFL
Make sure that is acceptable to your dealer-----

    Thanks

NO NONE! It's on the list. Next time you are in South OC for a Cal Guns shoot (2nd Fri of the month at 6:30) you can shoot mine all you want.

There is a "loophole", it's called airsoft.

            You are probably better off.

I vaguely recall a review that extolled the aesthetic pleasure one could derive from fresh blood against a parkerized finish.

You could get a SPAS 15 if you must have a SPAS.

Both the SPAS 12 and the LAW 12 are banned by name.

If you want the look of a SPAS 12, in a Ca legal shotgun, get a (if you can find one) SAS12. It is the "pump action only" version of the SPAS 12, and it will accept all of the SPAS 12 furniture, accessories, etc.

You can make it look exactly like a SPAS 12

Yes, there is a way to get one.

You can have it demiled to BATFE spec, then have it re-welded by an 07ffl (or you can do it yourself if your handy.)

                        Not a cheap project.

Good luck finding parts for the SPAS-12, it's been out of production since the early-1990s.

                              Beretta owns Benelli & Franchi...
Once the Benelli M-3 Super 90 went into production, the Franchi SPAS-12 was discontinued.
Once the Beretta M-3P went into production, the Franchi SPAS-15 was discontinued.
This was all done to conform with Beretta's vision of Franchi only producing sporting shotguns and the military/tactical shotguns being produced by Benelli and Beretta.
