870 problems

Took my 870 pump out today to shoot shoot some shells and had a problem


It's a pump ... and after every shell I have to slam the butt down to open the breach shell stuck inside chamber. Then pry shell out. Noticed big gashes out of top of shell where it tried to extract it.

Do a search one 870s / Rough chambers.

This is nothing new. Bad QC is the standard nowadays.

Clean the h**l out of the chamber

Go to www.aiptactical.com and click on the red link "Install and cleaning". Follow the directions to make the cleaning/polishing rod and your issue is should be over.

When my 870 was knew I have had that happen as well, but using the hell out of it and also keeping it clean will help. I now have no problems at all! I do it all with this gun.

Listen to aippi. This man truly knows what he's talking about. I had the same problem with my 870. I took his advice and now that problem is not an issue.
