Please recommend a reliable Semi-auto

Looking for a Benelli semi-auto shotgun. What do you recommend? It has to be reliable (for HD) but also good for skeet shooting and maybe hunting.

It's a gift and it has to be Benelli. I've seen an M4 but that's way too expensive. Thanks.

If you want a Benelli, but not an M4, I'd say go with an M1. Those seem to be very popular, and are quite a bit more affordable than the M4. No personal experience here though.

I'd recommend a Benelli M2 Field. Keep in that additional barrels are a bit expensive though ($450-500). You could go with a 21" barrel if you were wanting one barrel. Otherwise, get a rifle sight 18.5" barrel and a M2 in 26-28". If you get a Tactical model you'll probably want to get a new lighter recoil spring from a Field model or Wolf so it will feed lighter loads.
