    Single shot .410?

Does anyone still make a single shot .410 shotgun? A friend of mine at work has a very old one that was really fun to shoot and thought I'd see if you could still get something similar.

    Thanks!

Rossi makes one, I think retail price is about $120.
Baikal makes one also for about $150

Be ready to pay for the ammo, 12 guage plinking loads are usually cheaper.

              Thanks for the suggestions guys!

I have a number of 12GAs now. I'm looking for something kinda unique that would be good for my nephew to use after he masters a .22 rifle.

                Maybe a H&R/NEF?
I see their ads a lot, not sure about .410

                  There's the H&R Pardner ($115), Topper ($131), or Survivor ($178) in .410 :

                    H&R
                    Rossi

                    Most likely others...

Probably about a million of these things made out there. Touted as THE snake killer of all time.

The price of ammo will make you cry though for a shotgun...

Personal favorite at trap shoots is my NRA commerative H&R 12 guage single shot. People laugh like crazy since it looks like it cost maybe $100 until you start breaking clays like a banshi

+1 for the H&R/NEF guns-- simple, solid, reliable

...and then there's always the "Snake Charmer"

                          +2 for the H&R/NEF.

I have a Topper I bought here on calguns for $100, and it's a ton of fun. Fast, light, low recoil, and ejects the empties about 10 feet.

For another fun, low-recoil shooter, the Mossberg 500 and Remington 870 both come in .410, and if you keep an eye open, they show up at the shops now and again for reasonable prices. I've got a Hi Standard .410 pump, and it's great fun for the recoil-shy.

There used to be a little one called a "Snake Charmer", IIRC. Pretty cool, it had a synthetic stock and room for extra shells in the butt.

I've always wanted a snake charmer. I've just never gotten around to picking one up! There are cool little guns.
