    Ithaca Shotguns

A person I know had his grandfather pass away. As part of the estate sale they are selling two old Ithaca shotguns:
    1) Field Grade, 28" barrels, $425.
    2) Better Grade, checkered beavertail forearm, 30" barrels, full+full, $750.
Both rifles are very old, probably from the 50s.
    Are they worth that much?
I don't know much about shotguns...

Find out the Model Number. They may very well be worth what they're asking. I would hope a family member or friend would qualify for a discount. One should try to keep them in the family or at least with friends of family if possible. HTH c good
