    samllest light for a rail?

I am taking my X400 of the Benelli M4 and moving it to my HK ump (clone)
I still want a light but it has to be small I also perfer a push button cap at the back over the tape switch. If at all possable a strobe would be perfect.
any suggestions? price dont matter but I would like quailty.
thanks as always for your time

The Streamlight TLR-1 is pretty small, very bright and they make a strobe version (look for the 'S' in the model name.) It's not a push button, per se, but it has an instant toggle or constant on.

Here's a pic on my carbine. Real easy thumb manipulation.

Streamlight TLR-3 is significantly smaller than the TLR-1. I have a TLR-1 on my G17C, and a TLR-3 on my G29. I like them both, though the TLR-1 is brighter. They appear to be of similar quality.

Neither are push button though. I haven't seen a push button weapon light smaller than the TLR-3, but I can't say I looked very hard.

Something in the Fenix line (moderate price, ok quality) or HDS Systems if you want top quality.

that TLR 3 looks very small and very well priced.

damn I am not cheap but $800 is nutz. I guess the IR makes the price go up?

I like the way HDS lets you build it the way you want it but I dont think they are small enough for me. that silly surefire light looks perfect besides price and the TLR # is winning right now,lol

Here are a couple of the smallest that I know of. I actually thought that the TLR-3 was the smallest and then I stumbled on this Smoth & Wesson model!

TLR-3 is an excellent value for the price. 2K rds on a 9mm with no problems. You'll be surprised on how small it is. Not sure how it would hold up on a 12 gage though. No concerns just no experience.
