    switching safety around?

I have an 870 but i am left handed, i do not mind the shells flying across my face but i was wondering if i can switch the safety so when I pick it up my left index finger can push the safety off. Thanks in advance for the help.

    Kyle, Remington makes a Trigger Group 12ga R H Eject, L H Safety.

Part number F112044, DO NOT alter your Trigger Group to convert it to a L H Safety, is is not safe to do this.

I bought mine from AIPPI, owner of AIP Tactical and had him change over to the Police Sear and Dog Follower Spring, Wilson Safety and while you are ordering the Trig. Grp., get the Forged Steel Extractor. Now you have
a POLICE 870 sans the Finish.

    AIPPI is on this forum.

Screen name is Aippi, his business is AI&P Tactical. He's a great guy, knows his Remington stuff to the tee.

                Kyle,

I also installed a Knoxx/ Blackhawk Compstock Recoil Reduction Stock and a Vancomp SS Folower.

It is shaped like a regular Shotgun Stock, no pistol grip and cost $120.00.

I bought an 870 Left Hand to convert, but I am having to much fun, shooting Skeet.

By the way it comes with a Forged Steel Extractor.

Go to Aippi's Website and read every thing, watch all the Videos and you will get one hell of an education!!!!

There is a video by Clint Smith, who runs Thunder Ranch.
