Hi all. I just installed the ATI adjustable gun stock and pistol grip so the wife can finally hold the gun, and now the action release button is nearly impossible to depress in the ready position. Any thoughts or.......? Thanks

Just another reason why pistol grip stocks don't belong on Mossbergs.Larry Renner

Pistol grip stocks have a bad habit of interfering with the action release on Mossbergs. Many times it can be solved by relieving some material off the stock.

Did this ever get resolved for you? I had a similar issue with a MAKO folding stock. I spent a while clearing away material on the pistol grip potion so the action release would finally come down but now I have a different issue, my shells aren't being released from the mag tube, so cycling the action does nothing. I'm thinking that maybe I need to clear away more material?
Any suggestions?Comment

Can you contact me about this problem? The stock system has fit every Mossberg I we have tested it with, so I am interested to see if there has been a change in the design of the shotgun. Email or PM is fine.Comment
