    Sell 887 for Nova/Super Nova?

    I have a Remington 887 Nitro Mag Tactical, I like it and it serves it's purpose (general HD)... but I'm starting to consider the Benelli instead...

    I know there is a lot of chatter about the cons of the 887 (I have found it to be far better than much of the squawk) - but does anyone out here have "first hand" experience with both that can give me an objective opinion? (please no opinions based on what you read, thanks).

    Is it worth getting rid of the 887 to get a Nova or Super Nova?

      I have a Super Nova with a pistol grip and it has never failed. Can't comment on a 887.

          somehow I suspect I'll end up with both... I need to start getting rid of some of the stuff I dont shoot though.

          Initially I liked the fact that the 887 was less common... but it's a bit bulky and I've had some issues with Federal 00 and 3 1/2 loads - not sure it's the particular brand or the specific shot shells... I'm pretty sure the Super Nova doesnt have these inherent problems.
