i'd appreciate a report back on how you like the recoil-reducing stock. i'm considering one for my mossberg.

Great looking shotgun! I didn't know Big 5 sold Mesa Tactical parts. Anyways, I also have the Mesa Tactical recoil stock kit with the Magpul CTR stock, SF foregrip, and 6 shell shot holder, just minus the picatanny rail. My shoulder don't even get sore. I will be ordering a 18.5 barrel police barrel with rifle sights, fixed IC, and parkerized from AIPPI when money becomes available. I also will be changing out 2 little steel parts to make it at Police model level. Enjoy it, your shoulders with thank you.

Got the 870 from big five -- got the parts straight from Mesa.

I just got the Mesa adapter and the taps for the grip screw and the buffer tube are terrible. I need to re-tap them to get anything to thread in there properly.

The fit is nice though.

i bought a Mesa Tactical LEO telescopic stock with buffer from a member here; it works and the aldjustable LOP is a very nice feature. the buffer agent is not going to work for you unless the shotgun is fired while shouldered. the Mesa stock is very high quality imo.

i believe aippi on the forum here sells them and has them available on his shotgun builds.
