Legal in Cali?

Well it seems like it should be legal. I went down the flow-chart. It is shorter than 26" in its shortest configuration but it isn't fire-able in that configuration? Does that still make it illegal? I don't really want it, I would if it were in 20 guage. But just an interesting shotgun, thought I'd ask.

Yes I want one also. Butt the .410 gauge / 45 long colt chambered guns have been a BOZO NONO for a while. I want The Judge Taurus revolver with a 6" barrel.

But basically it is a shotgun that is under length - under in overall length and in barrel length.

CA's SBS and SBR laws require 26" OAL, and case law says that that is measured in its shortest fireable configuration.

That's for what the PRK defines as "assault" rifles...for other rifles as well as shotguns, prk follows federal law with a 26" minimum length. Feds consider that measurement with the stock unfolded, prk with the stock folded.

I thought for length in CA for shotguns is - mininum shotgun barrel 18" and overall 28".

Wait for all guns or just shotguns? I have a AK under folder that is 27 with the muzzle break on it does that mean its legal? with the stock folded? I thought it was OAL of 30+???

I would assume the legal length in a fire-able condition.

So if the prossecution LOOSES your muzzel device - it should measure to the minuim length. In the ablove threads I posted ---- I decided to make my centerfire rifle project should be 31" ---- as if the authorities wanted not play fair.


31+ inches without muzzel device or recoil padd. CA LEGAL {in my opinion}
