20 gauge slug gun?

I have an old Savage SS that I'm going to have tapped, so I can mount a scope. Yesterday I took it to an indoor range and tried out a .357/.38 chamber adapter at 25 yards. With just the bead sight, I could get close to where I aimed, but with a scope or red dot I could do better.

I did this with an old .410 and with a red dot I have consistent groups with slugs. Also with an adapter for .32 HR mags.
