Went into turners today to look for some cheap 7.62x39 and .30-06 ammo and ended up over 400 dollars poorer

What do you guys think? Fair price? Someone was telling me I could have gotten a regular 870 and added the goodies myself.. Im lazy though.

Anyway, cant wait. 10 days now

Its a pretty cool shotgun, the 870's are great. Except I still dunno why they couldn't match the mag clamp green like the rest of the gun.

Interesting that the one in the ad has a grey-green mag tube and yours has a black one. What type of finish does the grey-green appear to be? Is it a kind of Parkerizing or is it painted?

Oh, and don't forget to update your signature line.

I have been dead set on an FN TPS or a FN PS and putting a Knoxx SpecOps Stock on it. But now that I see what the ACTUAL 870 Tactical looks like, I am considering it.

I bet Remington is turning away A LOT of customers by the photos they have listed in their ads, because I was turned off by it instantly. But now that I see yours, it is definitely much nicer than the ad pics.

Just went to the range yesterday and I shot great. Put big holes in paper as designed .. Easier to operate, no malfunctions, and the buttstock pad made it so the recoil was nothing.

I was in Atlanta two weeks ago for a gun show and they had four diff vendors selling the same one for 299 out the door.. no tax .... ack.. i wanted one so bad. They look so much better in person.

fyi.. you could have put one of these togather yourself except the aftermarket stock you would have bought would not be as nice and not say Rem on the back.. very nice
