    reassembly of the 870

Took the 870 apart for cleaning and I've forgotten the trick to get the bolt and slide arms back inside the receiver.

Anybody found a good guide on the internet? My Google came up with DVDs to buy and a lousy video on Youtube. Searched this forum and gave up after looking through about 400 search results.

I thought it was pushing on the same "arm" inside the receiver that I used to get it apart but I must have forgotten a step

The shell stopss on both sides need to be pushed. Get the operating rod with bolt and carrier started until it stops. Then push the shell stop on right. It should go in a bit more. Then push the shell stop on the left and it will go in the rest of the way.

      Yes, it's BOTH sides.

Right side should be first huh? I just fiddled until it slid in.

Thanks for the help, I knew it was fairly simple.
