    Rifled shotgun slugs

    I just picked up a case of Federal Law Enforcement grade 12 Ga rifled slugs. Question is, can they be fired through a standard 12 Ga shotgun. Lawmen's shotguns aren't usually rifled so how well will they work???

              +2... that is the straight scoop. Sabot slugs will work in a smooth bore, just not as accurate as they will through a rifled bore.
