Sawn down stock

I'm looking for a sawn off stock grip for my Mossberg 500. Not a regular pistol grip, but one with the smooth horizontal curve. I have no desire to saw my own unless I have to.

Does anyone sell these?

Someone used to make plastic versions, they called them "birds-heads" or something like that.

FWIW, they're really, really useless. They are extremely difficult to use because the recoil forces the gun/triggerguard to slam back into your middle finger every shot.

Cool, someone still makes this. I had the birds head grip on my last 870 and I liked it better than any other of the short stocks or pistol grip. I made my one for my new Winchester Defender SXP.

I wouldn't say these grips are useless as claimed above. They are purpose built for close quarters self defense. NEVER raise one to eye level because you risk getting a mouth full of recoil. The are designed for shooting from the hip at close distance.

I built mine for my SXP to turn it into a close quarters Defender and to make the gun more compact so I can carry it from the truck to my tent. Yes I have a handgun but consider 8 shots 00 buck vs 10 shots 9mm...and if you were on the receiving end which one would be more intimidating?
