    sights for saiga 12

Searched for a thread discussing sights and went back several pages but no go.

Anyways I'd like to be able to see what I'm aiming at as the factory setup is piss poor. I've seen some rails on ebay like this, but they look HUGE, i'm not sure why there is that gap inbetween the top rail.

I might add a cheap bushnell type optic to it eventually but for now I just want some sights so I can shoot some clay targets.

what to do? I feel like a kid in a candy store with $5.00 and all i see is 5,000 types of gum, jawbreakers, red ropes...

Chaos is great stuff. USA made too and on sale, this is your best bet for bolt on.

UTG stuff is bulky and heavy.

If your gunna go with the extended rail you might as well get the Titan Quad Rail with H&K sights.

Just so you know tho, the sights on this rail, which are the same as the sights on the rail I posted, are adjustable for windage but not elevation.

I can't tell, do any of Chaos' top rail/sights offerings mount directly to the shotgun, or do they all require the quad rail?

I'm planning on picking up the Tapco Intrafuse forearm (I like the look and the weight), and I'd love to have some better sights and/or a rail on top, but paying $99 for a rail and $60 for a sight set just hurts my wallet too much...especially when that's all before I even consider a FastFireII.

As in you hate foregrips, or as in you're under the false impression that a foregrip on a S12 is illegal? :P

The hinge is so that you can remove the dust cover underneath when doing a feild strip or cleaning without having to remove the whole quadrail. It really is an amazing idea. Can you imagine taking the whole rail off every time you wanted to clean it? what a pain that would be.

And yes you can put a light and a forward grip on it. I don't know why Rustymachine said no.

I have the Krebs and added a Fiber optic front .. It will take any AR15 front post and is incredibly accurate now with slugs . Works well with buckshot too on static targets. I haven't tried to shoot flying clays with it yet. I prefer my Benelli and Auto 5 for those

I must admit I believed it was illegal when I first read a post/thread about it. I checked the http://ag.ca.gov/firearms/forms/pdf/awguide.pdf afterwards...
