Try reading the thread above you titled "Saiga 12 CA Legal In Stock". Alternatively, if you hit "Search", you'll find 3 or so similar threads in the last week.

As far as shipping a california-legal model these are the only two I know that probably have them in stock.

I would recommend calling or emailing both of them to make sure they are actually in stock before ordering

Both of them are forum members so you could also PM them.

i dont know the details of it, but apparently, the ATF has decided that imported saigas are "sporting" and there will be no ban on them. at the moment though, they are probably still difficult to get

Saiga 12s are not banned though

Here's an update on this topic... We did a tremendous business selling The Saiga 12s with bullet button//mag lock into Calif. before the current hiatus in imports. The importers have not yet been able to resume importing them, though.

However please note that all our sources/distributors/importers/warehouses have kept the Saiga 12s in their catalogs, and there is even a new importer bringing in the rifles (no shotguns yet though). He said he can not get an import permit approved for them currently. but, as soon as the imports are allowed again we will have them, as many as we can get, but the current situation is that imports are still stopped but not officially banned.

It might take awhile for imports to resume, while the BATF sorts out whether these are "sporting" firearms (which is their criteria for allowing them to be imported) or maybe while we will have to wait for a different political "cadre."

We have quite a waiting list and we did stop adding to it, because it was time consuming to keep up. Meanwhile, I will post here when some are back in stock, so Calguns can be the first to know.

The buzz around Saiga.com is that the ATF ruled that they are imported under a sporting configuration. I hope that this is true so that you and everyone else will have plenty in stock, and hopefully for alot cheaper than the $800 that everyone is selling them for right now. I can not verify this since I havnt seen an official ruling from the ATF but this is where the info came from. http://www.subguns.com/boards/mgmsg.cgi?read=755871

Thanks for the update, do you have a store in CC? I work at the Medical Center on the north end of town.

Sorry no storefront only on web but if you are in CC...

We have no storefront in Carson City and are a web only business. But you can get free shipping if you are in CC because we will deliver free to a local FFL such as the Capitol City Gun Club or NV Gun Exch or whoever you choose in Carson City, so we remove the shipping but Nevadans do pay NV sales tax.

Thanks for asking! BTW I created the hospital's first web site, if that is where you are working... did a lot of hospital programming work years ago before we started our own business.

P.S. See my post re: Saiga 12s being back in stock.

Update re: Saiga 12 availability 9/21/11 Here's a url you can use to see all SAIGA 12 SHOTGUNS when they are in stock. There are now a bunch of importers. We just received over 20 of 12GA and still have a 410 in stock at this time...

This URL finds all shotguns with "Saiga" in the product title. I hope it helps you to shop.

Thanks again to all you great Calguns members,

I have seen plenty of them at gun shows. You can get the 10 round mags too.
