    WTT: Rem 870 Barrel Clamp

I have a Remington 870 Barrel/Mag Extension clamp w/ a sling swivel. Looking to trade someone for a clamp w/o the sling swivel...any takers?

          because:
          1. I use a single point sling w/ MI adapter which attaches b/t receiver and stock so i have no need for sling swivel
          2. I use the shotgun for patrol and the swivel rattles for every minute of my 10 hr shift right next to my ear and drives me crazy
          3. I was told CA sells the 870 w/ clamps w/o the swivel
          4. I don't want to buy a new clamp if i could just as easily trade for one

I love it. Allows me to go hands on to put cuffs on and still have quick access to the shotgun. Also is very comfortable. The midwest industries sling mount works great and is pretty cheap off Brownell's. I think I have a Blackhawk bungee sling or something? haha

A recent post by a buyer of the Big Five model wanted the barrel bracket with swivel. Here is one for an even trade. Doesn't matter if he is 50 miles away or 500 with gase at $4.50 a gallon use the US mail.

The bracket with the QD stud he is trading cost $34 on the Remington parts list and the one off the Big Five 870 with out the QD stud cost $21 on the Remington parts so this is a good trade for someone.

Isn't it relatively easy to remove the swivel? Is it held on the bracket by a circlip?

No, it is pressed on. The ones you add are held on as you describe.
