              I saw this on the outdoor channel today. He said it was because Mossberg is MADE IN AMERICA but I think its more like Mossberg offered him more money.

                      Not exclusively. Under FN / Browning ownership of the Winchester brand the Model 70 is being made in FN's South Carolina plant. I've read someplace that the SXP shotgun line is being made there as well. Pretty much everything else branded Winchester now, that is new, is being made off shore to my understanding.
