    Knoxx Recoil Reducing stock

    Hi all,

I have been looking into this product and done my reseatch and this is what I have heard so far. Many reviews like it but when it came down to Nut N Fancy's review he had broken his and couldn't get a propper cheek weld on it.

Now I have some questions for ya'll:

    - Do any of you have any experience with this stock? If so do you recomend it?

    - It advertises 80% recoid reduction, is that part true?

    Thank you

    - Dave

You don't get cheek weld on it. You head is up and you raise the weapon up to your line of sight not your face down to the weapon. When shooting a pistol you don't point from the shoulder and then lay your face down on your arm, you raise the weapon up to your line of sight. The guy in that video is an "IDIOT"

Go to www.aiptactical.com and click on the red link "Breaking in the 870" scroll down on that page to the part about "Recoil reducing stocks" that is how you shoot this stock. And yes, when used properly is reduces felt recoil but I could no say any percentage and not sure how they can as every shooter is going to be different.

I have one on my 590A1 and it performs as advertised. The recoil is significantly reduced and as aippi has stated, use it properly to avoid the cheek slap mentioned in that video.

i dont like it i am not a fan of recoil reducing stocks either IMO if you want a lighter recoil get a 20 gauge if you dont want a 20 gauge then you got to man up
That punk pulled a Glock 7 on me. You know what that is? It's a porcelain gun made in Germany. Dosen't show up on your airport X-ray machines, here, and it cost more than you make in a month.

At 57 and after years of abuse to my shoulders as a power lifter and other stupid things I don't consider finding a solution to reducing heavy recoil as being less then a man. Add the fact that they reduce muzzle flip and get me back on target faster and these stock enhance not only my shooting enjoyment but give me an edge in a fight.

My neighbor borrowed my 12ga Turkey 870 which has a SpecOps on it for his 11 year old daughter to hunt with. I talked to them yesterday and she thanked me for letting here use my gun and told me all about how much fun it was to shoot. He has her shooting regular #4 game loads and not the magnum Turkey loads but since the stock works even better with heavy loads I know she can handle it with those loads. She is so pettite she has to use a shooting stick to hold the weapon up. She has been bothering him every day to shoot that 12ga.

So "Man up" there Gorilla and get rid of that sissy 12ga and get a 10 ga.

I just got an 870 and I put the knoxx stock on it. It is amazing. I fired 25 rounds of number 8 through it in about 10 minutes and was amazed. There really is a difference in the amount of recoil. Well worth the money.

I have one on my Mossy 500, I really like it although it slopes down instead of level like an AR, just a minor complaint. I really like shooting slugs & after work related shoulder surgury it's a must to have for me.

Wow Aippi! I think your the idiot, not nutnfancy. Relax and please stop the name calling. Nutnfancy posts tons of videos all the time because filming is a big hobby for him, so we know that at least he gets out and shoots and uses his gear. I agree with Vanilla gorilla, I think a basic stock is best , for me, that is. A basic stock is usually quickest and most reliable in a combat setting. If you cant handle the recoil of a 12ga. for some reason then do whatever you can to reduce it, including different stock options. What I would do first though is use reduced recoil ammo.
The forums are just a whole bunch of opinions guys, no one should be criticized for what they say unless what they say is insulting (then return fire). haha

I have several combat SGNs and work most effectively with field stocks for speed, accuracy and reliability. I have owned knox recoil reduction stock and I think it's a fine stock. I doubt one could say it reduces 80% or 50%. It does reduce recoil. If felt recoil is a problem then this will help. I'm 6'2 and 200lb so I'm not so sensitive. I know some prefer and field stock setup with recoil reduction but I've never owned one, only the knox pistil grip setup which did work as advertised.

Have you tried one for more than one shoot? I have one, I love it.
