    saiga 12 break in?

    so i went to the range with my new saiga 12 yesterday and fired 100 shells. 75 of them were number 4, 25 were 7 1/2. all were high base and i had the gas block set to "1". all were federal

    i had 1 failure to feed. it was weird it got stuck on aparently nothing, just smacked the charging handle and it went into battery. the bolt was all the way to the rear.

    that should be it right? did i miss somthing?
    my saiga is in original import sporter config.

    maybe my question i hard to get out of all the info i gave.

    i did some research on what it takes to "break in" a saiga 12. ive heard over and over again itll take 100 rds for it to start working properly, but mine worked 99 percent of the time from the first shot.

    so, did i do everything right? am i out of the woods, or am i looking at a potential failure down the road? if i run low base am i going to see the issues others are talking about?

    ps. i ordered a butt cushion today because i got blood bruises on both shoulders (i shot about 30-40 support side)

      That punk pulled a Glock 7 on me. You know what that is? It's a porcelain gun made in Germany. Dosen't show up on your airport X-ray machines, here, and it cost more than you make in a month.

          Mine fired everything I put into it right out of the box like yours. Most 7 1/2 on setting 1 and some 8 on setting 1 and others I had to switch to setting 2. Why worry about a problem that doesnt exist yet? Enjoy your gun. I broke mine in with lots of slugs and buckshot.

              youre right i guess i was just concerned that an issue might come up with all the stories i hear about how thease guns can be real peices of crap when they are new
