the SPAS 15 is a bad a** shotgun, but they are discontinued, so if anything breaks on it, you're gonna have a heck of a time getting a replacement part. they're also very expensive.

saiga 12 is a little more practical, as for availability and cost. although, at the present time, they are becoming increasingly more difficult to get.

hopefully the ATF study wont come down on saigas

well, its difficult to say with how the ATF will determine the fate of the saiga 12. the study is supposedly on importation depending on sporting configuration. the saiga comes in without a pistol grip and a 5 round mag, so hopefully it wont be an issue. i suppose wel find out eventually

i agree though, the SPAS 15 is really cool. id definitely buy one if i could, and im sure there are many other people who feel the same way. i cant help but get excited looking at pictures of them

There are less than two hundred Franchi SPAS-15s in the USA.
Franchi discontinued the SPAS-15 in the late-1990s.
Every now and then, they show up on the auction sites and sell for around $10,000.
Good luck finding one or parts for one.

buying one in the US would be incredibly difficult. i have heard however that they are still fairly common in europe. it makes me wonder if theres any way to get around the importation ban

Also the SPAS-15 6 round magazines go for around $200 a piece.

Release date is not available yet but MSRP is $800.

Should be a bit lower when it comes out of the market. Hopefully

Unfortunately that folding stock model would be illegal in California
