The only "Military" that I am aware of the United States has is the United States Marine Corps. They then have other branches that are know as the "Service". Most guys in the "Service" get very little training with small arms as they don't need it. They can put a Missile in your left ear from 1,000 miles away or turn a small city into a crater so laying in the dirt and shooting someone at 500 yards is a waste of time for them.
