So many people selling Mossberg 930spx

Any idea's why? Every time I look through the for sale section I see one or two for sale. Did they get a bad review or something?

It happens all the time with all different guns. You won't see one for sale for months at a time, and then a bunch will pop up all at oncem it happens a lot with the Springfield MC Operator 1911's. You won't see one for 4 or 5 months, and then 3 will pop up within a day or two of each other.

        KidRR,
I love my 930SPX! It's moved to the front of the safe and replaced my Benelli S-90A1 as first out. There were a few "lemons" let out of the factory. My first one was one of those, but Mossberg made it right and replaced the gun and I can't say enough good things about this shotgun.
Kel, I noticed the monolithic forend on your gun and thought, "Wow, that's a rail system" until I realized you had to remove the rear sight. Are you going to optic sight the gun or is the missing rear sight just an over sight? Kind of ruins the excellent LPA Ghost Ring sighting system if you have to remove the sight for the rail system (heavy sigh ) Oh well, it looks awesome anyways.

That's where I got mine, and I'm happy with it too.
I had to wait for some time for them to get the spx in stock, but it was worth it considering it was the newest version.
Click on gun genie and put in your zip code. You'll get an out the door price at the nearest participating ffl.
The only issue I've had was the feed issue. Apparently the spring that comes with the choate 2 rnd extension is too long. I've got another spring coming so I can experiment with one. I read on another site that the spring that comes with the 5 rnd tube works well. I've also read that there is a certain length past the tube that you want to cut it, but can't remember what the spec was so I'll wait to qoute it.

For a while there it was the latest and greatest thing. So people who otherwise would not have bought a shotgun did so. A while goes by, something else catches their eye, and they never got around to using their shinny new shotgun...so they unload it to fund the next latest and greatest thing. Happens whenever something new is released. Especially when that something new is both affordable and feature packed.

FWIW I read terrible reviews here about the 930 SPX cycling issues with low recoil buck and birdshot but bought one anyway. I have had zero issues. I have put alot of Ranger Law Enforcement 00 buck and birdshot (from Walmart) and the gun has run flawlessly. It is lightweight and very easy to operate. This gun far exceeded my expectations!

I have the plain 930 combo that comes with 2 barrels and I love the damn thing. So far its gone a few hundred shells without any real issues. Shoots bird and buck just fine.

I went with the 930 28"/24" rifled barrels. I figured I could always pick up an 18.5" barrel later on if I wanted it to be a HD shotgun.

Turns out these 18.5" barrels are IMPOSSIBLE to find. I'd order one from Mossberg, but they have been back-ordered for sometime and they cost $170ish each.

FWIW, its been a awesome shotgun so far. I take it to the skeet/trap range all the time and it performs extremely well. I will say, though, that after 7-8 boxes of walmart bird shot.... it will sometimes FTE if I switch to a lower recoil load because the gas cylinder is filthy. If I just stick with the walmart loads... it will function just fine.

Mine can't cycle bird shots, even some lower powered buck it won't cycle. Is it a lemon?
