If you're happy with the results, and it shoots and functions well then who cares what anyone thinks. I wouldn't have extended the mag out past the muzzle, but that's a purely visual balance thing for me. If you're happy, I am happy for you.



And if that is the Mossberg blue barrel, that is much better looking than what I would have expected based on other examples I've seen.

Yeah, that barrel looks fine by me, and I wish they had 20" barrels available with a standard cylinder bore, but all the ones I found were rifled. At least on Midway, Brownells and Amazon.

It looks good nice wood and bluing on there defiantly has some more class than a standard home defense 870.

If you are interested in evening out the mag w/ the barrel both Remington and Carlson's sell extended chokes that stick out past the barrel, some of which are blued. This is assuming of course that your new barrel is threaded for chokes..
