Help Me Decide My Next Purchase!!

Hey guys, Im currently looking at getting a shotgun in the next few days, but I am on a limited budget. This gun will be for home security, but I also would like to use it for informal hand thrown clay shooting as well. After looking around, Ive narrowed down to two choices. A Maverick 88 from turners going for 199 and a Stevens 350 security shoutgun for 229.00 at big 5. They are both 18 in barrels. Ive shot clays with 18 in. just fine, so length isnt too important for clays shooting. I handled the stevens and it feels real good and sturdy, but haven't seen too many reviews for it. My other concerns is the ghost ring sights on the stevens for clay shooting. Will this be a problem or can I easily adapt to shooting clays with ghost rings instead of a bead? As well I havent handled a Maverick yet( but Ima try to stop by turners tommorow to handle it) but have heard great things about. Help me out guys, I'd really appreciate it.

the ghost ring sights might be a bit of a hindrance for clay shooting but will be good for shooting slugs and the Stevens is only a 6 shot 18" barrel and the Maverick comes in a 6 shot 18" barrel or a 8 shot 20"barrel IMO i would go with the Maverick

I bought the Stevens from Big 5. Still trying to get down to the range to let 'er rip. However, if I had seen it before I purchased it, I would have saved some more pennies and gotten something like this:

I like the feel of the Stevens though, and I've been feeling up a lot of potential HD shotguns for a while now. Plus, it's ambidextrous. It's nice to have a weapon that won't eject across my face for a change.
