Benelli SuperNova magazine extension tube?

I am new to shotguns and I just bought a Benelli SuperNova pump 12 Ga 18". I will be getting it next week and I am looking for a magazine extension tube. I have found tubes for the Nova pump specifically but my question is will this same tube work with the SuperNova? The SuperNova and Nova pump are two different shotguns. The way I understand it is the the SuperNova is an improved version of the Nova. I imagine the tubes are the same but I have no way of referencing this. I also did a thourough search in the archives and found nothing as well as Google. Any help in this area would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

As far as I can tell, both use the same mag extension tubes. There were some factory-original Benelli extensions available online, but they appear to be indefinitely backordered. You might want to check out http://lymanproducts.com/tacstar/extension.htm

They both use the same tube. Midway USA carries the Tacstar Ext Tube for both Nova & Super Nova. I don't know if you have a problem with Tacstar or not there tubes seem to be very well made.

I bought some extension tubes for my 12g and 20g Novas from Tom Knapp last year. He answered the phone himself and was very pleasant and knowledgeable, especially considering he's Benelli's exhibition shooter and used Novas and SuperNovas to set world records.

So I've been thinking about buying a Supernova, and one thing I've ran across is that it's a federal violation to increase the capacity of this gun beyond 5 rounds when it is equipped with a pistol gripped stock.

They should work, considering that they are practically the same shotgun, just one without comfortech. I have the supernova with the 7 mag extension and the packaging said nova/supernova on mine. I love my supernova!

I think it has to be a semi-auto to be in federal violation, but that expired with the assault weapons law.
