I went out and shot sporting clays for the first time today. I think I'm addicted.
I don't have a shotgun yet, so I'll have to get one. I'm pretty sure the nearest place I can shoot is 45-60 minutes away. On the drive home, all I could think about was all the expenses I'd be willing to cut to feed this addiction. Maybe I can afford to eat one less meal a day?

279 will get you a combo 28" and 18.5" barreled gun from Big5...that's one say to feed the addiction on the cheap!

Start with a REM 870. I shot clays with one for ten years before I bought a double. My ithica 37 pump is still my go to gun for hunting.

Count your blessings that this is your only addiction. It would be worse if it was golf also.
