    Dragumov Stock

    I just bought a saiga 12 shotgun and wanted to change a couple of things on it i wanted to install a dragumov style stock but i think it is illegal in california. anyone know for sure? if not what king of stocks can I use? also want to install a barrel shroud and change the stock fore-grip i think it's called. are all pistol grips illegal in california?

      My post has been corrected:

      It is not illegal since your Saiga 12 most likely came with a mag-lock. However, changing its current configuration triggers the 922r compliance issue. You have to replace enough parts with U.S. made parts to be compliant. Check-out next post for the answer.

      Google is your friend... Since I can't find the 922 parts calculator.

      Is this the stock you you have in mind:



      I can't definitely say that his conversion is 922 compliant but if that thumbhole stock is US made then I'm sure he has enough parts on that table.
      There are better conversions than this.

          Installing a thumbhole stock does not trigger 922(r).
