    Mossberg Bullpup

    Can anyone tell me if this is considered CA legal? It does not have a detachable magazine...any help?

    yes, it's CA legal, even if it did have a detachable mag, because it's a pump gun

                I got one on Friday at martin b rettings. Haven't got to shoot it yet. But it's pretty evil looking in person!

                  If the barrel is at least 18.5", and the overall length is over 26", you should be good..

                    I bought one in CA for $500 last year through Gunrunners tactical. I loved it for what it was and how it looked. When shooting, its a blast, and people on the range always beg to shoot it. I really had to sell it though for 5 reasons.

                    - The 1911 style grip safety tang is about 1/2" wide and dug into my hand web very harshly
                    - The slide release and controls are way back in the bullpup section and hard to operate
                    - It was heavy and my wife couldn't use it right because the sights are really high
                    - It was a little difficult to accessorize
                    - Someone wanted it so much more than I did

                    It was an awesome shotgun. Mine was an 18.5" with a 5 round 3" capacity.
