    Quick legality question

Would this Remington 870 with telestock and pistol grip be CA legal? I know the AW law refer to semiautos but i want to make sure. So can a pump action have any features? thanks

California has no specific feature restrictions on pump action shotguns in the Assault Weapons laws.

Yes, non-semi-auto shotguns can legally have any feature you want.
Just make sure it has a 18+" barrel length and a 26+" overall length.

        Yup what they said...
Heck, mine even has a detachable magazine...LOL

I've only heard good things about the Knoxx SpecOps stock and it's recoil reduction

Well I'm a Mossberg fan, but I have no hard feelings toward the Remington's

That 500 you listed looks like it has the ATI stock that I have. It's a good stock and the adjustability is good because my wife likes to shoot mine. So it makes it easier to switch between us. But I don't really like the whole hand strap on the forend on the 500SP

That remington looks really nice too... mostly because of the Knoxx stock and the extra capacity...

It really comes down to what you want to spend...

You could actually get a Mossberg 500 combo with two different barrels then just buy the ATI stock for a total around $300... just food for thought
