    Siaga 12's get banned?

Had a friend come back from a gun show this weekend in OC and while looking for Saiga 12 conversion parts was told that Siaga 12's had fallen onto the federal ban list. I told him I'd check here because I hadn't heard anything but he said the Calgun booth at the show told him the same. Did I miss something?

I hadn't heard it was final though it had been rumored for the last few months

      FUD.

Now compliance with 922r may cause confusion, I know it confuses the hell out of me (though I have not had to comply with it). S12s are not banned though, nor are conversions

Which might explain why so many Saiga sellers are spreading the rumor.

All rumors is right They still have them but the price has jumped. They are not made so welll they could have done a lot better job on the S 12.

There is nothing wrong with the S12. Its just bone *** simple like the AK its based on.

I paid a lot more for one during the pre-Obama scare and it doesn't matter to me. Really at that time, how many mag fed shotguns were there out there to choose from?

Many of you out there are just spoiled from the fact that they were available at such a low price in the recent year. So why didn't you guys jump on it back then when it was so readily available at such a good price? News of the ban only fed interest on the S12 and if there wasn't such news more than half of you guys wouldn't even give the S12 a second look.

There is an ATF study out that points to a possible future ban, but is not explicit. Its been discussed in other threads.

All this gun show/gun shop/gun forum speculation is a pure joke. No shotguns have been banned from importation since the SPAS, Streetsweeper thing a couple decades ago. Everyone who is spreading FUD about S12s is just fueling the fire and creating a buying panic. There has been no official mention of any make or model of shotgun that the current study is looking at. In fact, the current study is even questioning some pump shotguns. I have yet to see a S12 pump.

I believe that they are not banned from sale just will no longer be imported.

All brands of 10 round box mags jam with mine. It looks to me that the follower on all of them rocks back and forth too much which is causing the next shell to go nose up and not feed correctly.

The 5 round factory mag runs fine, and the 10 round ProMag drum mag works good (its the 12 rounder blocked at 10).

There is no law or ban keeping them from being imported. Please don't spread FUD unless you can back it up with facts.

There were some folks here talking about S12s being not imported about 2+ years ago -
