Saiga-12 - what is this feature?

I was just reading a description of the S-12 on a website and came across a description of a feature that I've never heard mentioned on the S-12. Mine is a couple years old and has the BHO feature, but not sure how this other feature is possible...
This shotgun uses the Kalashnikov gas system. This gas system reduces felt recoil dramatically and will be a guaranteed hit with every squeeze of the trigger. It will be capable of shooting in either a single shot operation, allowing use of all the gases in order to increase the velocity of the round or in the standard semi-auto mode.
Is there some way to lock out the bolt, so it doesn't cycle? Anyone know anything about this? Just kinda curious...

Yeah, you just cut off the gas going through the gas block, meaning no gas to push the piston back to cycle the bolt and more gas(I have no idea how much it would actually affect velocity) pushing the projectile forward instead of cycling the action.

So just like if you kill the gas system on an AR or AK, it pretty much becomes a bolt action rifle.

Oh, so you just screw the "gas adjuster cap" thingy all the way in? Hah! Okay, that makes sense now - can't believe I didn't just think of that.

      Thanks!

pretty sure that would be for less-than-lethal rounds

Not just less lethal, but other light loads as well. It's kinda funny that they just started using that as an additional selling point.

I'm more impressed by this one:
and will be a guaranteed hit with every squeeze of the trigger
