I like. My 870 is sporting a new 18.5 inch barrel, stock ammo sleeve, and new magazine cap.

I am looking to replace the furniture and prefer to say with the eye pleasing wood, but the police walnut is hard to find or expensive.

So, have you replaced yours from the original...and if so what did you use.

As I said, I like. Looks beautifly simplistic and all business.

the gun is 100% minus the new stock remington barrel. i chose to go with the 4 shell side saddle because i didn't want to cut the forend to fit 6 side saddle. i also opted to not add the +2 extention because i want to be able to still use the gun for trap and quick barrel swaps.

you should take off a few of those side saddles. a heavier shotgun does not make a better shotgun, especially when your swinging it to track prey/a bad guy.

Just wondering, and not trying to start an argument, but why do you keep the chamber empty? It just seems like an unnecessary step and you lose 1 round capacity.

it's because i'm overly safe and that's what i'm comfortable with.

                .

just because you think you are fast/strong doesnt mean someone is not faster/stronger/smarter. dont take my advice if you dont want but its not bad advice.

if i'm hunting, camping, or hiking, of course i'd count ounces, but for this particular gun and it's role, weight is a non issue.

I agree. My HD weapons not in the safe are always Condition 3.

                    Enjoyed the Video. Thanks.
