If you get an image of each up, and look closely, they're not anywhere close. Ejection port is different (IIRC, it looks bigger on the Mossberg), pins are in different spots, the safety on the Mossberg is where it is on their other shotguns...

From what I've read there is a buffer tube in the stock that prevents it from sharing a stock from a 500 series.

If it turns out to be super reliable, $500, and will be federal reg 922r resistant since it is domestic, Then it out to be the best selling shotgun in it's category.

I was looking at a 930 a while back at Big5 as well
Looks pretty nice
I'm still trying to talk the wife into it...LOL
She wants a Shotgun for herself, but loves the 500 for trap.
And everytime I ask well lets go get you one... she comes up with some reason not to.... LOL

I figure If I can talk her into the 930 or 935 I can add a nice semi to my collection... Hmmm... someday soon

Go to Shotgunworld.com and look in their Mossberg forum. Someone already has one in his possession. He's taken it out twice and run about 300 rounds total so far using full strength buckshot and slugs all the way down to lighter target loads and it's been 100% reliable every time.
