    IAC 982 break in?

I get to pick up my new IAC 982 on Tuesday and since this is my first brand new shotgun I was wondering what I can or should fire through it when I first take it out. I am going to strip it and oil it before I go but it's a 12ga pump and from what I have heard they are good to go with whatever ammo straight out of the box.

First you need to know where you are going to be shooting. Some ranges limit the types of ammuniton you may fire. No slugs, no buck, target ammo no larger than 7.5 shot. Some places let you blast away.

Cheap Wal-Mart bulk upland loads, the 100 round value packs for $22. Make as many empty hulls as a $100 bill will get you. Clean well before and after.

I already have a few of the walmart value packs as well as some slugs and 00. I guess I will just bring a little of everything when I go out shooting on BLM.
