Glowing Sights - Are they worth it?

I've noticed a few shooters at the trap and 5 stand range with the brightly colored add-on sights to their shotguns.

I was wondering what type of shooting they help with and which brands or style you recommend.

They would help with quicker target acquisition for hunting/trap if you have trouble with the bead sight. They usually aren't to expensive so try them out and see if you can get on target better. I used my buddy's 870 with a bead sight when we were dove hunting and it was nice, but I like my bead too.
