Saiga 12 Conversion in the Bay Area.

Just picked up a Saiga 12. Looking for someone to either convert it for me (For Cash). Or someone that converted theirs and would be willing to help me (also for cash). Anyone interested? Does not have to be a gunsmith just some one that has done the conversion on theirs with out any problems. I am located in the East Bay. Thanks.

Valkyrie arms in milipitas does it. They can do pretty much anything you want. I asked back on october how much. About 250 in labor plus parts.

another option is to contact the guys at Solar Tactical. I know they do the conversions and offer the parts to do it as well.

do it yourself... go buy a dremel and a bolt on trigger guard and have some fun. The instructions are at Saiga-12.
Then if you need help, post back here with pictures and questions... it is SUPER EASY.

What part of the East Bay are you in ? I've done 2 Saiga conversions in the past month without a hitch as long as you have all the right parts for your model.

I have the CSS conversion kit w/ their trigger guard, but the machined aluminum mag release cover that came on my CA-legal S12 (from Frontier Armory) won't work with this kit.

I was halfway through the conversion process when i realized I needed a new CA compliance part.... stupid state....

The only one that I know of that will fit with the CSS trigger guard is the Solar Tactical Saiga 12 mag lock. Dont waste your time with the PRK Arms or even an AK variant saiga mag locks. They are very nice, but they dont fit with the CSS trigger guard.
