    Mossberg 500 Fore-End.

Well, I bought a Mossberg 500 SPX, But when I tried the display, the fore-end was "Wobbly", As well as other mossberg 500's. The only one I found that wasn't wobbly was a benelli M4 tactical fore-end which fealt sturdy and only went back and forth, not side to side lol...

Is there a way to tighten them (if the new one has it)

I also have this issue along with many other 500 owners. I have yet to read or hear of anyone actually having issues with the forend except that it wobbles a little

It's just a little loose. I've had mine for about 20 years and it never got any looser. Never any tighter either The wobble you are feeling is more the action bars than the actual forearm.

There is going to be a certain amount of play in the fore end assembly. It needs to move effortlessly over the mag tube and a tight fit there would bind the gun up with a grain of sand or two.

If the fore end it self is loose on the action bar assembly, tightening up the castle nut inside the front end of the fore end will take care of it. If it's just one solid piece of synthetic with the action bars molded in, then it is what it is and you'll not get it any better than what it is.
