screw saiga's. ghost load auto loaders: 8+1+1=10 rds

i just dont get why people are so enthralled with saiga's, other than people are attached to the kalashnikov aesthetics. you can ghost load a slp mk1, mossy 930 spx or any number of extended mag auto loaders.

for those who dont know what ghost loading is, here's the video on youtube:

i ghost load my fnh slp mk1, and have 8 shells on a mesa sidesaddle, and have 5 shells on a butt band, and have 2 shells in a velcro on vertical from 3gun gear. thats 25 shells on the gun.

cant beat that with a saiga and the slp is so much better made more reliable gun. theyre stamped vicksburg PA so screw 922r too. you can get the tri rail extension if you wanna put a light or whatever on it.

    just my 2 cents.

VS. a 10 rnd mag with another 10 rnds as quick as you can do a mag change? Hell, in a free state you can have 20 rnds + another 20 as fast as you can do a mag change.

that video showed a guy fumbling around with some shells to get the ghost load done. Given the reasoning you still have to reload after you shoot all the shells and I'd rather have a detachable mag for that than a bunch of loose shells. Of course here in this state these are maglocked and you need a tool...but I think it would still be faster to use the tool and install a new mag than it would be to reload one at a time.

and even if its maglocked you can have a drum magazine holding however many rounds, because there is not round limitation on a shotgun AFAIK. That is ofcourse if you legally own a drum magazine.

you start ghost loaded and speed load from there. obviously that guy cant load very fast, but i sure as hell can.

i suppose if you dont know how to speed load and are too lazy to learn, then take the easy route and get a saiga.

i much prefer my auto loader. to each his own i suppose.

Wait, so let me try and get this logic.

If you like a saiga, it's because you're "take[ing] the easy route", "don't know how to speed load", and are "too lazy to learn"?

Yeah, rather open-minded of you, buddy.

Bad way to compare anything as guys like what they like. Me its the 870 and I would not trust my life to any of your semi-autos. If guys want that Russian shotgun mess and they get good with them then they sure can have them and I would not want to be the guy to try and take a loaded one away from them. The weapon works and puts out some lead, a lot of lead and that is the point. I will never have one, don't need it nor your 8 round loading. So to blast these guys in not cool. It's thier weapon and they are not blasting you for your choise.

Spot on. The saiga haters seem to be in full force lately. Who cares what people like? And lol at that retarded "ghost loading". No thanks, Ill take a magazine.
