    mossberg 500 build

I've got a stripped mossberg 500 receiver and am looking for suggestions on building it up.

I thought about a bull pup config or the knoxx sidewinder set up. I dont want a hunting setup, I've got plenty of hunting shotguns. I've also got the 590 as my primary defence shotgun I want something exotic.

Buy a whole mossberg for $200-250 then put thoes parts on the reciver you have. Not shure how you aquired just the reciever, but buying all the small parts will = to a new gun. My .02

If you can find the parts to do a bullpup, that would be cool
The kits are next to impossible to find though. You'll also have to worry about the whole length issue

But I do love my Sidewinder. That might be an easier option to do. At least there are more of those kits floating around. I think one would look really cool with a top folding stock

I was thinking about going the top folding stock setup with the sidewinder kit but when I went to numerich to order the small parts I saw the bull pup config and my wheels started to turn.

It a long story and I dont want get in to details on the way I got it, but I was givin the stripped reciever and the 18" barrel for free
