Have you ever seen The Deadliest Catch ? That's how the weather was at M-N-M's Mulligun Shoot yesterday, in So Cal.
Freezing rain, waves crashing over the bow, certain death at every turn. OK, it wasn't quite that bad, but it was 50 and drizzling. Actually, I've fished many a day "inside" when it was MUCH worse.
The Mulligun shoot is a fun event where you can replace your one lowest station with the score from your highest. That plus Cory's Lewis Class scoring means everybody has a chance to win something. Zero one stage, run the next, and you're sitting at 20.
This was the year end (2010) event, so Larry Schnur walked away with a 391, Johnny Fowler took home a flat screen TV, and everybody feasted on prime rib.
Me, I tied for my class, but lost out to the tie breaker.
