Siaga 12 conversion with bullet button

Please forgive me I am new and don't know how to effectively search for my question.
I am converting my S12 and looking for advise on the Bullet Button trigger guard combo for form function. Hopefully with the grip nut built in. Planning on grip with changeable inserts and a shock tube stock with pinned adjustable but trying to figure that setup out too. Oh and tromex single stage trigger group.
I want to do as little metalwork as possible and don't want to weld on my gun myself as my welds are not that pretty.

if you get the trigger guard from cobra 76 two on the saiga-12 forum, it's the same trigger guard from akbuilder but in a bolt on version. pistol grip nut is built in to the trigger guard. i literally just finished this conversion myself not 2 hours ago. the only metal work required is to remove the rivets holding on the original trigger guard and trigger plate and drill 2 new holes in the receiver (trigger guard uses 1 original hole and the original trigger hole, plus 2 more that you need to drill). this trigger guard also is the only one that the PRK lock will work with.

if you have a drill press this is not a difficult conversion. takes some time if you're careful, but not too difficult for a novice like myself.

just finished it tonight. had to wait for the safety lever and axis retaining plate that i forgot to order to come in. i just found out tonight that akbuilder.com apparently sells it in a bolt-on version as well, but Shannon is a good guy.

Congrats on the build. Shannon is a good guy. Just don't mention LRBHO to him, its a sore subject. You may also want to consider his bolt and carrier contour service. It allows you to insert a loaded mag with the bolt closed and helps cycle low brass Walmart Valupak ammo.

yeah working up to that. when i converted my 7.62 he accidentally sent me a hammer profiled for a 12 gauge instead- had some issue. so, w/ the s12 it's baby steps. once mod at a time to make sure i don't bugger anything up with each new mod, and if i do, i will know which mod did the damage.

read the threads on the LRBHO - i know he's been working on it for a really long time.
you partake of any of his habanero hot sauce yet? good stuff.
