Police trade in 870P?

Where can I buy police trade in shotguns in the Sacramento area? Also how much do these usually go for? Thanks

Well I'm hoping that it'll be cheaper then a new 870 express. I dont really care what condition its in I'm going to be refinishing everything and making it a Wilson Combat look alike.

Summit gunbroker has them for 235 and up and the older 870's are built better then the newer express's.Check under Riot Guns

How much is the fees if I get one shipped to an FFL? Can anyone recommend a good one around Sacramento as well. Thanks for all the info, I just checked out buds gun shop and I think I'm sold!

Bing that Wilson builds on the 870 Express HD you would be way ahead of the game by getting a new 870 Express HD and building on it. since you brought that up. Tell guys that their Wilson Combat they paid $1200 for is an Express model and they get silly, but it is and so are mine and other customizers. Why is this. Because there is only one 870 and we know it.

The 4+1 Express HD model is under $300. If you find a used 870 P for under $300 you still have the ffl transfer fee wich is high in your state. With the new weapon you have all new parts and no concerns. Department trades are a crap shoot as many armorers canablize them for the good parts. There is no real difference in the models other then finish and furniture and since you are changing those it is not an issue for you. Do not get hung up on the misconception that P is a different shotgun the Express or Wingmaster, it is not. There is only one 870 and they all have the same parts except a couple small ones. A review of the 870 parts list on the Remington web site will verify this as you will find only one part offered for the parts that are in an 870 in 12 ga. and of course some different parts for the Super Magnum.
