    mossberg scope mount

I can't find this on their website but does anybody have one? I wanted to know how it mounts. Does it use a screw to replace the take down pin like a side saddle shell carrier does?http://www.cdnninvestments.com/mos50012gaqu.html

I don't have on of these but I do have a sidesaddle on my Mossy 500. The attachment points look to be laid out the same as my sidesaddle, at least as for as hole location in the picture.

I would like to find out if these can be used with a sidesaddle or if it is an 'either/or' situation.

Thanks,me too, that is precisely why I asked. I guess I could always move the side saddle somewhere else.

The Weaver brand scope mount uses the four pre-drilled and tapped holes on the top of the receiver and you can still use a Sidesaddle. I bought mine from Gunbroker for $9. BUT. I had to modify it by milling an extra slot to fit my red dot scope. I also cut it short because it was too long for the receiver and looked odd.

If ya want it drop me an email or PM.
