    Benelli M4 - Magpul MS2 + GG&G Sling Adapter

As the post says I am wondering if the GG&G M4 sling loop is large enough to accommodate the Magpul MS2 sling's snap shackle?

This is the single point sling I run on all of my other carbines and shotguns. In the case of my Benelli M1S90 the GG&G sling loop appears to be much larger and getting the MS2 through it is no problem, I just can't tell with the M4 sling loop.

    Has anyone tried it?

    Thanks,

I have an M4 and the Magpul MS2...

Unfortunately, the Magpul MS2 cannot work with the M4......the sling loops on the M4 are too small for the MS2.

Anyone got a solution for it?

I assume you are talking about the sling loops built into the pistol grip stock for the Benelli? They are definitely too small.

I am referring specifiably to the GG&G sling loop adapter that sits at the back of the receiver.

Here is the GG&G loop I have for my Benelli M1. You can see it is pretty large by sling loop standards and I have no issue getting the MS2 through it.

My concern is the M4 version is too small. I think I am going to have to suck it up and spend $35 to experiment.

Buy a couple of smaller hooks.. like MASH hooks.. that's what I did to make the Magpul sling work on my SCAR.

So your saying MASH hook to the GG&G loop then connect the MS2 to the MASH hook? Or are you saying modify the MS2 to use MASH hook instead of a snap shackle?

I'm have a Midwest Industries rear sling plate on my moss 500 the slot is narrow and the MS2 is binding up in it. I'm having a steel ring welded that will float in the slot and be big enough for the MS2. I should have that back any day. Like a one sided ASAP
